Description: ? ConocoPhillips Information Technology (IT) provides technical services to the ConocoPhillips network.? ? The IT Business Analyst position is responsible for providing application support, project management, and business analysis to the Human Resources (HR) business area. ? Responsibilities may include: Providing business areas with a single point of contact for IT issues, requests, and resolutions. Coordinating all aspects of IT support for business area including analysis for new systems, upgrades to existing systems, and other IT services. Ability to organize and coordinate IT and business testing to ensure smooth implementation of new applications and upgrades. Providing hands-on technical support for both vendor and in-house developed applications potentially including systems configuration or migrations. Managing small to medium sized project from project initiation (Front End Loading) through implementation. Working closely with business areas to learn business processes and help to develop requirements. Preparing statements of work for vendor projects. Managing vendor relationships for both in-house hosted and cloud hosted applications. Maintaining open lines of communications with business areas. Ensuring that IT policies and procedures are followed. Developing strong, positive relationships with other application and IT infrastructure support teams. Keeping business contacts informed concerning application upgrades, outages, business impacts. Analyze business requirements and make recommendations on options to solve global business concerns.

?? Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • 3+ years experience in an IT Business Analyst, Project Manager, or technical support role
  • 3+ years experience providing IT support directly to customers?
Preferred:
  • Bachelor?s Degree in computer science, MIS, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource business processes and applications
  • Experience in providing IT solutions directly to non-IT customers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects
  • Able to work independently
  • Customer focused
