Children enjoy Family Fun Way | Port Isabel-South Padre PRESS

United Way of Southern Cameron County presented the Family Fun Way event Tuesday at the Port Isabel Public Library.

Lynette Benavidez, early childhood education director, said the Family Fun Way event is a part of the Success by 6 campaign by United Way.

Success By 6 is a public private partnership of community leaders who have a common concern or shared vision, Benavidez said, the goal for the campaign is to have all children ready to succeed when they enter school by developing a comprehensive action plan to address short and longterm needs of children in the community.
